Altivo Vinyet was imported from Spain one year ago to Tismeer Spanish Horses. To the best of our knowledge, he is the first approved 'true' Cremello PRE breeding stallion in the US (eeAaCrCr). He stands at 17 hands tall and has breathtaking movement. He has been under saddle for one year and is showing aptitude for various disciplines such as dressage, morphology (halter), and movement with his lofty straight movement and natural suspension He also has a sweet personality, harmonious conformation, and is a proven breeder with excellent semen and a group of lovely foals on the ground. When crossed with bay, he produces buckskin and palomino out of chestnut.
Altivo will be standing in Scottsdale, AZ for the 2024 breeding season. Early booking discounts available for mares bred in the months of February and March. Orfeo PM, ‘imported from Spain 2 years ago, is a 5 year old ANCEE revised double pearl (Isabelo) on a bay base. Orfeo is nearly a clone of his famous father Ismaeil. Ismaeil is a grandson of Gaucho III who was imported to the US by Janne Rumbaugh of Wellington, FL. Gaucho’s offspring excelled in open dressage and showed that PREs could successfully compete against warmbloods at the high levels of dressage almost 20 years ago.
Orfeo is the whole package: breathtaking movement, gentle disposition, correct conformation and size (16.3 hands). Orfeo passes these traits along to his offspring with an incredible foal crop in 2023. In the dressage show ring, Orfeo has taken many firsts as well as being USDF Reserve Champion region 5 in 2023.
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Paco Marti’s stud where I met Orfeo PM. After lengthy negotiations, we reached a price, and he was mine. Paco told me he felt Orfeo was one of the four best Isabelo stallions in the world. Knowing Paco is quite the salesman, I took this with a grain of salt.
